A day at the zoo.

I spent a day at the Lincoln Park Zoo, and it was wonderful. I took a lot of pictures and these are my favorites. Theres also a few of the city thrown in there too. If anyone visits Chicago between June and September I highly recommend you visit this place. Its beautiful and admission is free. The Polar Bear Anna was by far my favorite, she was just so playful and fun to watch.

You should hang out in OZ park, in the Lincoln Park district. There's a statue of the straw man and dorthy I think. @ the intersection of Webster (block or two north of Armitage) and N Lincoln. If you see an awsome 51 year old redhead running backwards or a Japanese guy named Joji doing Tai Chi you should send them good energy or something. Esp the red head. He owns an antique cloth store.

Matt - so much enjoyed reading up on your adventures. you're a good writer, and have a great style to express your travels. enjoy Chicago, it's a great city (especially if it's not the dead of winter or summer). Enjoy getting lost, i've found it's often the only way to find your way. and enjoy meeting random people - how boring life would be if we only hung out with the folks we were most comfortable with.
